We are so proud to have completed another successful year of our Buddy Scheme, a truly special programme that helps our new P1 children feel safe, welcomed, and excited as they begin their journey at St Náile's.
This initiative not only supports our youngest pupils during their important transition, but also nurtures a deep sense of responsibility, kindness, and empathy in our P5 children. Watching these older pupils grow into caring mentors has been a joy—many of them have gained just as much from the experience as their younger buddies.
It’s a beautiful reminder of the strength of our school community, where every child is supported, valued, and encouraged to shine.
They had their first official visit to St Naile’s last Friday, where they received a lovely treat as the PTA had arranged the Ice Cream Van to visit.
