On Thursday, our P1 children enjoyed a visit from Emmett Brogan (FODC), who led an engaging workshop on pollinators and sunflower planting. The children learned about the vital role pollinator-friendly plants play in supporting our environment, as well as the many insects that help our world thrive. To finish the session, each child planted their own sunflower seed. We can’t wait to see how tall their sunflowers grow over the coming weeks. Now all we need is plenty of sunshine!
